Research has shown that the EPA and DHA omega-3 fatty acids found in fish are crucial for the brain and nervous system. Unfortunately, most of our food supply of fish is heavily contaminated with mercury and heavy metals, radioactive material, PCBs, and other toxins. These poisons are good for no one but especially harmful to children and pregnant and nursing mothers. That's why Krill Oil is an optimal source of omega-3. Mercola Krill Oil is derived from Antarctic krill, which are naturally low in contaminants as krill are at the bottom of the food chain. The krill are harvested in a sustainable manner and the MSC-certified oil is encapsulated in Licaps® to ensure freshness and eliminate fishy odor.

Why Mercola Krill Oil is Better

Mercola Krill Oil comes from the ONLY krill fishery (out of 24 fisheries) to receive an "A" rating from the NGO Sustainable Fisheries Partnership (SFP). This is because of their unique harvesting system that keeps the krill alive until processing. Also, the krill oil is not heat processed – all the nutrients come from raw krill. It is cold-pressed to avoid oxidation and becoming rancid, as well as to preserve all the fragile nutrients that get damaged during heat processing.

    1. High quality krill oil

Looking for a good quality krill oil turned out to be confusing - so many brands.. conflicting reviews... Upon reading Dr Mercola's detailed article about krill oil - it seemed to me that he figured out how to make good quality krill oil - I decided to give it a try. The goal was to boost the body with omega3. Since it was only 1 month supply, I haven't had any blood test done yet so I can't tell if it improved my lipid profile, but it didn't give me any side affects which was great. I tried a different brand which immediately caused diarrhea... highly recommended! on
