What Is Green Pasture Blue Ice Liquid Fermented Cod Liver Oil?
Green Pasture Blue Ice Fermented Cod Liver Oil is the industry's only all-natural raw cod liver oil supplement, fermented and extracted in the old-world style without the use of heat or chemical solvents. Each small batch of Green Pasture cod liver oil is fermented for six months before it is cleaned and bottled without fillers or alkali-refiners. Green Pasture Fermented Cod Liver Oil is recommended by the Weston A. Price Foundation as the best cod liver oil available to supplement a healthy diet.
Nutritional Benefits of Cod Liver Oil
Whole Food Source of Vitamin A (approximately 9500 iu/teaspoon): Supports good vision, a healthy functioning immune system, and helps prevent infections from viruses and bacterial sources.
Whole Food Source of Vitamin D (approximately 1950 iu/teaspoon): Promotes the development and maintenance of strong bones and teeth.
Contains EPA: Combats inflammatory response, supports cardiovascular health, and may ease depression.
Contains DHA: Boosts healthy vision, promotes a well-functioning nervous system, and maintains skin.
A raw, all-natural cod liver: Made from fresh cod that is wild caught in Bering Sea/Aleutian Islands waters.
Cats and dogs will benefit from Green Pasture Fermented Cod Liver Oil in many of the same ways people benefit. A high-quality omega-3 supplement helps correct the omega-3:omega-6 imbalance caused by commercial pet food. Dr. Ian Billinghurst, holistic vet and author of The BARF Diet, recommends cod liver oil as the single most important supplement for pets. Billinghurst advises supplementing with "enough cod liver oil to supply between 20 and 40IU of vitamin A per pound of pet (dog or cat) per day." One teaspoon provides about 10,000IU of vitamin A, so a pet weighing 65lbs, for example, should get about 1/4 teaspoon of Green Pasture Fermented Cod Liver Oil daily. Use weekly doses for very small animals. Find out more here.
Note About Green Pasture Liquids:
These oils are made from fermented fish and will have an odor, taste, or texture that you may find unpleasant. Each batch will have a different consistency based on a multitude of factors. A bottle purchased today may be more or less palatable than one purchased a month ago. We promise that the difference is not an indicator of quality or freshness, but merely a sign of the natural origin of the product. Green Pasture does not guarantee satisfaction based on the taste, smell, or texture of their products. As such, we are unable to accept returns on opened bottles. Thank you for your understanding!

Nourishing World and Green Planet
My wife and I love this product. Cinnamon Tingle tastes great and the product is great for your health.
Nourishing World was more than accommodating when I ordered the wrong product. They stopped the shipment and made the corrections I asked forUnknown
Best tasting cod liver oul
This is the only way I can get FCLO in myself and my son. The mint totally covers up any yucky flavor!! Kristi
I've been buying FCLO from Nourishing World for sometime, and wouldn't have it any other way. It is our remedy for so many ailments... from cavities to vitamin D deficiency in the winter time. Liver has the highest concentration of nutrients gram per gram on the planet, and you get so many benefits from eating marine liver. We swear by it! It is excellent nutrition for pregnant and breastfeeding mamas. We also have our kids take it on a daily basis. It helps fight sickness and we rarely get colds or flus. We love this stuff and we're so grateful for the excellent quality green pastures provides. Maria
Great source of vitamin A and D
My son is 6 m old now. He's been taking unflavored cod liver oil since he was born. The oil tastes like a fish but my son quickly got used to it and he likes it. He is doing great and he is a healthy boy! I also took fermented cod liver oil during my pregnancy BC I believe that both A and D are very important for our health, especially while pregnant. Thank you Weston Price Foundation for recommending this oil.Pat
Fermented cod liver oil
My son and I have been taking this since he was 3. It does have a bad taste but you get used to it, we just hold our nose. The benefits are worth the bad taste. We take it along with high vitamin butter to protect our teeth. Some other things we include in our diet to keep our teeth healthy are bone broths, raw pasture raised eggs, raw milk and raw cheese, dried eggshells in smoothies or I encapsulate them to swallow myself, and beef liver pills. I have recomended all the above to everyone I know. I have bought cod liver oil and butter oil from peaceful planet multiple times, always great packaging and shipping time. Gen
no more fatigue, helped with muscle aches and pains
Ever since I started taking 3/4 tablespoon/day of Green Pastures cod liver oil, I've noticed a marked improvement in my exercise recovery time. I run, surf, do yoga, bike and hike and I'm 45 years old. Prior to taking cod liver, I was regularly dealing with a sore shoulder and elbow and taking awhile to recover from leg fatigue. I believe the cod liver oil is helping my joints and muscles recover more quickly.
I was taking the capsules but the oil was more economical so I switched. I thought the taste (I take the unflavored) would be horrible. But I find that I actually look forward to it in the morning. I take it before drinking coffee and it seems to coat my stomach so the acid doesn't bother me as much. If I don't take cod liver oil for a few days (traveling, etc) I definitely notice I'm generally more fatigued and less energetic. Unknown
Healed My Cavities!!!
In October, 2015, I had been having frequent headaches for some time. One day, it occurred to me that maybe I was having trouble with my teeth so I took a look. Sure enough...I found 3 different spots that I suspected were cavities beginning to develop as well as a lower molar that was actually black on one of the surfaces. I was horrified.
My husband encouraged me to see a dentist right away---before the beginning of the new year when our deductible would start all over.
However, I believe God led me to an article online about how to cure cavities nutritionally. I was hopeful about the possibility of curing cavities from the inside out, so decided to give it a try.
Nourishing World had everything I needed. I started using one teaspoon daily each of Green Pasture Blue Ice Fermented Cod Liver Oil and Green Pasture X-Factor Gold High Vitamin Butter Oil. The article also suggested I eat liver from grass-fed cows. As a 3rd generation vegetarian, the liver turned me off, but I figured it was worth a try. To my surprise, Nourishing World had Perfect Dessicated Liver capsules, which proved to be an easy way to get what I needed for my experiment in attempting to heal my cavities.
Lastly, the article recommended I drink raw goat milk. I had no access to raw goat milk, but our local health food store sold raw goat milk cheese so I tried to eat a little slice of that everyday.
I started my experimental regimen around mid-November, 2015. The pain and frequent headaches subsided within a month. The three probable cavity sites are still barely visible, but the blackness on my lower molar significantly faded to the point where there's just a light grayness on the back ridge of that tooth!
I thank Jesus for leading me to this wonderful discovery! I much prefer to have my teeth healed from the inside out rather than have a dentist put in a foreign substance and kill that part of a tooth. I have enough of those from years gone by. Diana O.
